The Reading

[Souxie Draculesti]

Sitting on the east side of the room is an oak circular table with two high back oak chairs a red cushion placed on the seat for resemblance of comfort. Draped over the table is a plain black cotton cloth, with two silver candle holders pentagrams engraved into the metal one had a black candle the other white. In the center of the two candles is a deck of cards picturing a long haired cloud colored woman partly hidden by the steam coming from the bowl she is holding in her cupped hands.

Seating herself in one of the cushioned chairs Mentia first lit the black candle for protection, then the white for purification of the space.The flames flicker across her emerald eyes making them appear gray as her quiet , but firm voice broke the silence while she placed her right hand on top the cards.

She approaches respectfully, bowing her head, even though her eyes glimmer with excitement.

Her eyes narrow and a thin smile cross her face as the first of Scavengers approached. " The Spell that which you seek, has been cast upon thee. Now search the city of dead for something new. that is where you will find your clue."

A sly smirk spread across her lips as she approached.

"It seems I shouldn't have gotten distracted last night. I now have some catching up to do. If you'd be so kind as to cast the Scavengers spell on me, I'll be on my way."

She looked up from her cards her eyes shining gray from the light that flickered across her face. " I see more are coming in . Yes you must hurry. Now search the city of dead for something new.That is where you will find your clue."
