The Inferno[/b]
The steady pulse of the bass vibrates the steps beneath your feet as you ascend the spiraling stairs. The walls are lit by torches, the obsidian walls reflecting the dim firelight and creating an eerie display as you venture forth, the noise getting louder as you continue. The stairs suddenly end, erupting into a narrow corridor illuminated by a lone torch at the end, calling you as the flame flickers with what you realize it is music pulsing through the cold stone.
The hallway ends as you stand before the torch, the scarlet flame entrancing in its dance, drawing you closer only to erupt into a beautiful lavender blaze. You step back, shocked and confused but continue watching as the lavender flame slowly changes forms. The fire seems to contract and curl into itself until it took the shape of a slender serpent, two endless portals of black appearing as eyes as it looks towards you. Moments pass as it stares, seemingly studying you until, as suddenly as it came, it erupts into the same scarlet fire. The wall before you, along with the torch, fades away and you are blasted with the music and the sight of dozens of vampires dancing with the DJ’s tunes. A bartender slides drinks to various patrons and several booths are packed with various groups. A bright sign above the DJ blinks from dark violet to red and you cannot help but smile as you read, stepping forth only to have the wall appear behind you once more.
A young woman steps towards you, her golden locks bouncing as she dances while she walks. Her make-up and attire is as provocative and unconventional as most vampires save her bright orange name tag reading “Morrigan”.
“Welcome to The Inferno, every sinners paradise”, she says in a melodic voice. “If you need anything just let me know!”
And so you stand inside The Inferno, the famous night club of Dead City for the first time. What kind of mischief could you possibly find tonight?
